Chebeague Transportation Company (CTC) has been transporting passengers, vehicles, and freight from the mainland to Chebeague Island, Maine for more than three decades.
The Company was created by hundreds of year-round and seasonal residents in order to serve the transportation needs of our island.
We welcome all those who want to experience the unique community of the newest town in Maine, Chebeague Island. Our ferry service operates several trips daily between Chebeague Island and Yarmouth, Maine. The 15-minute ride carries an average of nearly 10,000
passengers per month on our 119-passenger ferry, the Islander.
Parking for the ferry ride is available at two parking lots operated by CTC. The lot near the ferry on Cousins Island has limited capacity and is available for day parking only. The satellite lot located on Route One in Cumberland, Maine has adequate parking space for everyone. A CTC bus shuttles passengers between the satellite lot and the ferry.
During summer months, CTC provides cruise and charter services with our 88 passenger cruise boat, the Pied Piper. The Pied Piper offers two decks and facilities for serving beverages (including beer and wine) and snacks, sandwiches, and catered meals.
From April to November CTC’s 43-foot barge transports vehicles of all size and freight to and from Chebeague and two locations in Yarmouth. The barge also serves other islands in Casco Bay from Yarmouth.
