From the south:
If you are traveling north and using the Maine
Turnpike (now also called I-95), use the exit 52 ramp
(formerly turnpike exit 9) to go to U.S. Route 1 North.
Continue on Route 1 North about 3 miles and the lot will be
on your left.
If you are traveling north on I-295 (non-toll
road), take the Yarmouth/Cumberland exit 15 (formerly exit
16) to U.S. Route 1 North. At the stop sign, turn left onto
Route 1 South. The parking lot is on
U.S. Route 1 South
in about 1/4 mile on your right. |
From the north:
If you are traveling

As there is not an "address"
for the Route 1 Satellite Parking lot in
Cumberland that can be used as a "destination"/"to
here" in online mapping/directions sites or GPS/Navigation
systems, we offer the following hints:
- Specify the
*Latitude/Longitude* value that points directly to the
parking lot entrance: *_43.78,-70.194429_*
This is supported by, at least, *maps.google.com*,
*maps.yahoo.com*, *www.randmcnally.com* and
*Google Earth* and most GPS devices.
- Specify the *'next
closest' KNOWN map location*, as an alternative
'destination/to here' entry:

Yarmouth ME 04096
or just
Cole Haan Dr, 04096. This would at least get the
traveler off I-295
and headed in the correct direction on Route 1 -- the
parking lot is about a 1/4 mile further, on the right.
