CTC Reminders
-
Please--no pets on the seats of the bus or the ferry.
-
We’re really not set up for handling freight; please
bring large items on Casco Bay Lines. If you must bring
freight on CTC, please use the morning boats. Also, we
can carry absolutely no items that have ever had
gasoline in them on the passenger ferry.
-
Please put your name on all bags and make sure you have
your own bags when leaving the boat. If you have a
missing bag or have one that does not belong to you,
call 846‑3700.
-
Please stay off the Chebeague Island float as well as
the Cousins Island float while the boat is landing.
FOR
YOUR INFORMATION: There will be no barge specials
in the foreseeable future. In the recent past, CTC has run
barge specials in May and October. This practice has been
discontinued. We thought it only fair to announce this
change now so our customers can plan accordingly.
DON'T
MISS THE BUS! Please be aware that if you stop too long
to talk on the Cousins Island wharf, especially in a
location that is hard to see from the bus or the boat, you
may accidentally be left behind. If you are getting off the
boat with a lot of luggage, it is a good idea to take a load
up immediately and tell the bus driver that you have more so
the driver knows to wait for you. Our customers depend on
us to keep the schedules for both bus and boat. Please
be on time.
SAFETY
ISSUES:
-
For the safety of our
passengers and crew, please control your dog on a
leash at all times, both on and off the boat.
Handlers must control dogs and be watchful that their
leashes do not trip passengers and pedestrians. Dogs not
held on a leash will not be allowed on board.
-
CTC cannot land the boat
if there is anyone standing on the float. For safety's
sake, please wait for the boat to be completely tied
up and passengers disembarked before going down the
ramp on both the Chebeague Island side and the Cousins
Island side.
