Things to do on Chebeague Island
Chebeague is a wonderful destination point for everyone from the day traveler to the visitor staying for a week, month, or the entire summer!

Approximately three by five miles in size, it is the largest island in Casco Bay not connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island can easily be explored in a day by bicycle. Whether spending a day at the beach, playing golf, exploring the island, or learning about its history, the visitor will find many interesting and enjoyable activities.  Our island businesses and organizations include a library, historical society, recreation center, restaurants, a general store and gift shops.

There is no public transportation on the island. Visitors rely on friends, walking, and bicycles to get around. Public bathrooms are located at the Historical Society.  And remember to bring your checkbook and cash! Some island businesses (including CTC) do not accept credit cards. There is an ATM at the Boatyard.
